With considerable increase in vehicles and pedestrian rush the situation across the valley remained normal and under control today. During the day, no untoward incident was reported from any part of the valley till filing of this report.

Srinagar October, 29: With considerable increase in vehicles and pedestrian rush the situation across the valley remained normal and under control today. During the day, no untoward incident was reported from any part of the valley till filing of this report. The vehicles were seen plying on the roads of the city as well as on the roads connecting different towns and villages. The shops were open and huge number of vendors were seen doing their normal business. Adequate deployment of police and security forces was made at vulnerable points in Srinagar city, in main towns as also on the roads, lanes and by-lanes connecting different places.
